Affordable Design Experts

The process from start to finish (and beyond!)

1. Free Consultation

Your journey to an amazing new website or design project begins with a FREE, NO-PRESSURE, NO-OBLIGATION consultation. We'll get to know you, your story, and an idea of what your vision is for the project. We'll ask a variety of questions that will help us determine the scope of what needs to be done, and provide expert feedback, ideas and suggestions. At the end of the consultation, if you feel good about it, we can get the gears in motion to move forward. If you decide to hold-off, or want to think about it some more, that's no problem either. Just let us know when you are ready, and we'll be there to make it happen.

2. Design Questionnaire

The next step is one of the most important pieces of the puzzle. You'll fill out design questionnaire, which will ask you for detailed information regarding all aspects of the design project. It will probably cover some of the same things that were discussed in the consultation, but will delve deeper into everything that we need to know to make the best end product possible. After we review your questionnaire answers, we'll do another discussion with you to cover the new information, clarify the scope of the project, and solidify a more accurate quote. If we have any new great ideas, suggestions, or questions, we'll bring those up as well.

3. Initial Design Element Presentation

Next, our designers will process all of the information received and begin brainstorming ideas. They'll create a variety of potential options for elements of the project such as color scheme, font styles, and basic layout. You will be presented with these options and asked for your impressions, ideas, and opinions. Using that feedback, our designers will proceed with the design process and work their magic to tie the elements together.

4. Mockup, Iterations, and Finalizing the Design

At this point the real fun begins! You will be shown a mockup (first draft) of your project and asked for feedback. If necessary, we will have a discussion with you to clarify what changes are needed to the mockup. We'll continue working with you to create a more refined product based on your feedback, going through a few iterations until you give us the green light to move to the next step.

5. Implementation

When the design is approved, we'll proceed with implementation. If it's a website, we'll code it. If it's a print job, we'll send it to the press. Whatever it is, we'll make it happen. If necessary, we'll contact you at various points during this process to confirm our progress.

6. Follow-up and Support

Although the end product will be ready at this point, our job won't be done! We'll continue to communicate with you as needed to offer initial training and support for websites, or to follow-up on other types of projects such as printed pieces. You'll be free to contact us if you ever need anything; in our book "Once a customer, always a customer."

Just a few of our amazing websites...

CCG House

Heavy on the graphics, this site is bold and isn't afraid to stand out. Strong textures and high contrast add excitement, as does the "Featured Item" section in the center and the banners and product scroller. Some of these features incorporate our dynamic display function, which allows our clients to tag products in their inventory to automatically display in certain layouts.

Ideal808

Our client wanted a fresh logo and a custom website with an exciting and engaging graphical style for their eCommerce trading card game shop. The "808" in the name is taken from the Hawaiian area code where their retail store resides, and we brought that same fun "community feel" to the site design that the client is known for. We are constantly designing knock-your-socks-off graphics and promotional pieces for this client and their quickly expanding customer base.

Channel Fireball

One of the most popular and well known gaming sites on the internet, Channel Fireball is often affectionately referred to as CFB. The site delivers content, strategies, articles, videos, and a seamless shopping experience to thousands of game fanatics across the world. This site is for gamers, by gamers, and employs some of the biggest names in the industry. Our client is constantly improving and changing in a fluid fashion to maintain interest and gain additional visitors in a rapidly growing community.

Dragon Crown Games

For DragonCrownGames we made a clean, refined site that blends seamlessly with their logo. We also added a Twitter Widget to their sidebar to display their most recent "tweets", a MadMimi newsletter signup, and Olark live chat. Functional and usability enhancements include a large, centered search box and a fat footer.

Face to Face Games

This striking, heavily stylized design is very unique. The knight and dragon header elements were custom illustrated, and the website was designed to blend with the style and concept. Metallic textures and old world flourishes pair nicely with the fancy font and create a complete mood for the site's visitors. We also created a French version of the site which is accessed via a link in the header.

Arcane Brilliance

Purple and yellow colors compliment each other nicely in the Arcane Briliance design, and the logo really shines. The header has a rustic texture and sepia tone, with a classy overlay of grayscale imagery. A rotating carousel banner and some sidebar images complete the site.

We don't make logos...we bring ideas to life!

Planet Comics logo

This logo melds an old-school cartoon style with a "cosmic and planetary" theme to successfully bring home the concept of a game shop that is out of this world.

NV Games logo

"Fun, wacky, and downright irresistable" pretty much sums up this logo that we created for "NV Games."

ToyLynx logo

For the Toy Lynx logo we decided to go with a play on words by using the "Lynx" feline character while also visually making chain "links" out of the title.

Arcane Brilliance logo

In this logo the unique and rustic fonts contrast with the smooth arc, and a brilliant sparkle adds the finishing touch to illustrate the concept.

Battlezone Games logo

We brought some medieval flair to the table for this logo to illustrate the Battlezone theme. The picture is complete with an old world font and a classic sword and shield combo.

Face to Face Games logo illustration

These dragon and knight graphics were used in the "Face to Face Games" website logo and banner. Here we show them in grayscale in all of their detailed glory.
