Daisy Duck – Lovely Lady – 6\/204 – Uncommon<\/h4>
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Daisy Duck may not seem impressive at first glance, but don’t be deceived. One-cost characters can be very powerful when they have three willpower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mirabel Madrigal – Gift of the Family – 18\/204 – Super Rare<\/h4>
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Even though we’re still far from seeing the enchanted rares from this set, I’d bet on getting one of Mirabel. After all, she’s the star of Encanto. In terms of gameplay, her ability isn’t particularly extraordinary, but it does allow for a deck centered around Madrigal characters (which the starter deck in Ursula\u2019s Return will likely emphasize).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Record Player – 32\/204 – Common<\/h4>
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Could aggro decks once again dominate the Lorcana format? This card might give them a significant advantage by making it harder for opponents to eliminate weaker characters, while also enhancing the strength of Stitch \u2013 Rockstar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sign the Scroll – 30\/204 – Uncommon<\/h4>
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This intriguing card could fit well into the Amber\/Emerald discard deck strategy that was quite popular until the recent set. Forcing your opponent to choose between discarding a card or giving away free lore aligns perfectly with Ursula’s style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ursula – Eric’s Bride – 24\/204 – Rare<\/h4>
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This Ursula card features the new alternate Shift ability, allowing her to be played by discarding a card from your hand instead of paying the cost from your Inkwell. This makes her an excellent addition to a discard deck. However, her Shift ability can be as limiting as it is beneficial. While you don’t need to spend Ink to play her, you can’t play her without a song card in hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cinderella – Melody Weaver – 4\/204 – Legendary<\/h4>
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Cinderella appears to be a powerful card. However, as Savjz mentioned on Twitter, she’s vulnerable to the Medusa threat, which can easily eliminate most strong characters with three or less strength. Despite this, it’s still a very cool card!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mickey Mouse – Musketeer Captain – 16\/204 – Legendary<\/h4>
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

It’s hard to deny how cool this card looks, featuring Bodyguard and Support (without explaining those keywords). Beyond that, Mickey Mouse Captain boasts a powerful ability that enhances the potential for building a bodyguard-focused deck. When played, you draw a card for each Bodyguard character in play. That’s impressive and will work well in decks like Tiana Aggro that utilize bodyguards extensively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prince Eric – Ursula’s Groom – 22\/204 – Uncommon<\/h4>
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

While we’ve seen numerous Prince Eric cards, this is the first Floodborn version. This card, along with Ursula \u2013 Eric\u2019s Bride, appears to explore an alternate storyline where Ariel fails to prevent their marriage. Eric is clearly still under Ursula’s spell, destined to serve as her bodyguard indefinitely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flotsam & Jetsam – Entangling Eels – 44\/204 – Uncommon<\/h4>
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Flotsam & Jetsam have yet to receive a truly meta-relevant card, and this one doesn\u2019t change that. Despite featuring the alternate shift mechanic, which allows you to discard cards to play it, this alone isn’t enough to make the card compelling. It’s disappointing, especially for a Floodborn, as one would expect something a bit more exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter Pan – Shadow Finder – 54\/204 – Super Rare<\/h4>
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I sense a need for a potent, usable Peter Pan character card. Unfortunately, this isn’t it. Although its combination of abilities is intriguing, they don’t serve any specific purpose in current deck building, and it’s unlikely to see play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ursula – Mad Sea Witch – 57\/204 – Uncommon<\/h4>
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Primarily, this Ursula appears to facilitate her new Floodborn Shifting iteration. However, her challenger ability adds utility to what would otherwise be a straightforward card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ariel – Sonic Warrior – 175\/204 – Super Rare<\/h4>
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

It’s high time we welcomed a Floodborn Ariel. And her considerable strength doesn’t go unnoticed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
