Magic: The Gathering’s Secret Lair series is returning to game stores in Spring 2021 with Secret Lair: Ultimate Edition 2, featuring 10 “plane-swapped” and full-art Pathway land cards. These double-faced land cards originally appeared in Zendikar Rising, with one color of mana available on one side and a different color available on the other.

The “plane swapping” will see the artwork transition from Zendikar to Kaldheim, the plane we’ll be visiting early next year. And the four color pairings missing from the Zendikar Rising lineup will be appearing in Kaldheim, with alternate Zendikar versions in this Secret Lair pack.

The other four Pathways are coming very soon with Kaldheim, so we can’t show them off here just yet, but the Ultimate Edition 2 versions will have art set on Zendikar. That means across all printings of these cards, you’ll be able to nab complete cycles set on either Plane—or both!

Like the first Secret Lair: Ultimate Edition, Ultimate Edition 2 will arrive in a beautiful commemorative box that can be used for display. Due to issues surrounding procurement during the global pandemic, some of the boxes will be black and some will be dark gray. (There is no difference between the two other than color.)
