Cardfight!! Vanguard: “Keter Sanctuary”

Keter Sanctuary, also referred to as Keteru Sankuchuari, stands as one of the most diminutive nations within Planet Cray. It was previously recognized under the name of the United Sanctuary.

The Keter Sanctuary nation has inherited the adaptable nature of its predecessor, the United Sanctuary. Many of its ride lines are geared towards summoning specific rear-guards, while others focus on manipulating cards in the hand, deck, and during the drive check. This versatility is further enhanced by superior calling abilities from the hand, deck, or drop zone, providing additional drive checks or Stand effects during the battle phase.

Although other nations also feature units that increase their drive checks, this trait is more prominent in Keter Sanctuary, which emphasizes maintaining a large hand size through drawing and additional drive checks. Notably, both the vanguard and rear-guards in this nation can perform drive checks.

In addition to superior calling, certain ride lines within Keter Sanctuary possess the ability to manipulate cards at the top and bottom of the deck. When combined with superior calling, this can effectively thin out the deck, increasing the likelihood of triggering critical effects. Furthermore, there are units capable of recycling triggers from the drop zone or hand back into the deck.

Reflecting its diverse playstyle, each ride line within Keter Sanctuary adopts a unique approach to gameplay. Here are the cards to look for and learn about them.

Hexaorb Sorceress – D-BT01/008EN – RRR

  • The Sorceress ride line focuses on manipulating the Drive Check mechanic, altering the arrangement of cards at the top of the deck to enhance the player’s likelihood of encountering triggers during the drive check. Additionally, they boast effects that trigger when a trigger is revealed during the player’s Drive Check.

One Who Walks the Path of Light, Thegrea – D-BT05/10EN – RRR

  • The Thegrea ride line presents two distinct forms of Thegrea, symbolizing light and dark aspects. Each form derives advantages from having its counterpart in the soul, and both possess the capability to perform a Persona Ride by riding over the opposite version.

Omniscience Regalia, Minerva – D-BT08/007EN – RRR

  • Minerva and her comrades place emphasis on manipulating the soul and deck, facilitating deck thinning by transferring cards from the deck to the soul and examining the top card of the deck to either return it or place it in the soul. This strategy increases the probability of triggering effects. Furthermore, they increase their offensive capabilities by summoning cards from the drop zone through Soul Blast or Stand effects, leading to additional attacks. Additionally, they gain bonuses when a unit with “Regalia” is present in the soul.

Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel – V-EB03/002EN – VR

  • The Ezel ride line possesses the ability to perform a superior ride of an “Ezel” unit during the Grade 2 turn, albeit at the cost of reducing the Drive by 1. Additionally, this ride line prioritizes summoning units directly from the top of the deck and enables multiple attacks by filling open rear-guard circles with additional units.

Youthberk “Protofall Arms” – D-TD03/001EN – TD

  • The Youthberk series centers around the Revoldress mechanic. The primary objective of this deck is to search and mill the deck to find either a Revolform or a Persona Ride. It also places some emphasis on superior calling rear-guards directly from the deck.

Sword Saint Knight Dragon, Gramgrace – D-BT08/026EN – RR

  • Gramgrace possesses the capability to enable a rear-guard to attack from the back-row, a trait further strengthened by its Persona Ride, which also boosts the power of units in the back-row.

Salvation Wing Angel, Sarevsael – DZ-TD04/001EN – TD

  • Similar to Rezael, Sarevsael can resurrect allies from the drop zone with a power boost. Additionally, its skill enables a Persona Ride on the following turn, further enhancing the power of its allies.

Great Sage of Heavenly Law, Solrairon – D-BT10/010EN – RRR

  • Solrairon determines whether the top card of the deck is a Normal or Trigger Unit, triggering its abilities when the player accurately predicts the top card. To ensure consistent divination accuracy, supporting units can draw a card and then place a Normal Unit on top of the deck.

Majesty Lord Blaster – BT05/002EN – RRR

  • The Blaster series revolves around two main strategies: Firstly, sacrificing your own rear-guards to remove your opponent’s units from the field. The retired rear-guards often possess abilities that help offset the costs of retirement or grant additional power upon retirement. Secondly, the series emphasizes the presence of allies on the field or in the soul to enhance their strength or unlock additional abilities.

I hope the information above helps you to know more about the Keter Sanctuary.

Happy gaming!
